The TMS Board is comprised of the Managing Director, the Assurance Director and two non-executive directors. The Board is supported by our clinical, management and administration teams.
As joint owner and Managing Director of Trident Medical Services, Fiona is responsible for running the business. She also maintains an active clinical role advising clients on how to support both the employee and employer in the workplace.
Fiona is an Occupational Health Specialist Nurse Practitioner. Once she had qualified as a nurse she became interested in the health of the workforce and how her employer at the time was managing health related issues that impacted on the employees and therefore the NHS services. This was the beginning of her career in occupational health.
She served as a nursing officer in the Army reserves for 21 years which included a tour in Iraq. She has extensive experience in both the public and private sector and has worked for a number of industries including the NHS, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, retail, occupational health providers, council and government.

Safety and Risk Consultant & Company DirectorBiography
Brian is a Chartered Aeronautical and Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in conducting safety assessments and developing safety and risk management strategies across numerous domains, in both the military and civil sectors. Brian began his career in the Army, initially qualifying as an electrician in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME), before qualifying as a Control Systems Engineer in the late 80s. In 2001 Brian retrained as an Aircraft Engineering Officer, he completed his military career in 2013 in the post of Army Deputy Chief Aircraft Engineer.
Since the early 90s Brian has specialised in safety engineering where safety and airworthiness has been his primary focus. He is credited as developing one of the first land-system-safety cases for the Multiple Launch Rocket System in 1994. and has held such appointments as Independent Safety Assessor for the Apache Aircraft and Head of Air Integration for Special Projects.
For Atkins he was a Principal Safety and Airworthiness Consultant where he led a number of projects, including carrying out the independent safety assessment of the World Land Speed Record attempt project, Bloodhound SSC.

Non-Executive Director and Business Adviser John is a Chartered Accountant who trained with Coopers & Lybrand in London (now PwC). He has many years' experience in fast growing ambitious international businesses.
He has been co-founder of a biotech company and was Group FD of a software company that floated on AIM raising over £20m. Subsequently he became European Commercial Director for a very successful software services company whose clients were the major advertising agencies including WPP, Omnicom and Publicis Groupe. Here he was responsible for negotiating high value long term contracts.
Nick has been in business for over 25 years at board level, as Commercial Director, Managing Director, Non-Executive Director and Chairman. He comes armed with a wealth of experience in business planning, growth, fundraising, structure/restructure, mergers & integration, sales and marketing including brand creation and development. Nick is passionate about business. His interest is in helping small and medium sized businesses to maximize profitability, plan for the future, and to focus on the core issues that really matter and will shape their business.
